Fred Thompson, the actor and former Tennessee senator who is expected to announce next month he is running for president, flew to London on Monday to meet Margaret Thatcher and deliver a foreign policy speech, his advisers tell The Politico.

Thompson’s advisers aim to use the London events to bolster his foreign policy credentials and elevate him above the increasingly contentious fray of the GOP race.

So, the old site was written by me back in 2002-2003 timeframe. Basically, it was outdated and I never finished the code. I wanted to rewrite it, but got lazy (earlier in the process this time), so…. I was looking around and decided to install Wordpress. Although there have been some minor security issues with it, hopefully I’ll be able to keep on top of it.

Anyway, I’ll be adding some plugins, maybe write some of my own, and do various things like that. So if the site is suddenly unavailable, you know why.

Yesterday, Republicans successfully blocked a no confidence vote against the Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.  Good for them!  Now let’s talk about a no confidence vote with congress.  Since taking over the Senate in January, the only bill the Democrats were able to get through to the President was the 3rd attempt at troop funding.  What happened to that infamous 100 hour plan?
